Everything you need, nothing you don't

Rules you can read

"From my bank → my work phone." Forward from specific numbers or sender IDs, or forward everything.

Pick from contacts

Choose senders and recipients from your contacts app, or type any number. Add as many as you like.

Dual-SIM aware

Only forward texts that arrive on SIM 1, SIM 2 or both — and choose which SIM sends the forward.

Reliable

Runs in the background, even when the app is closed. Failed sends retry automatically when signal returns.

Private by design

No internet permission, no account, no analytics. Messages never leave your phone except as the SMS you asked for.

Loop-proof

Never sends a message back to the number it came from, and ignores its own forwards if they come back.

Getting started

  1. Install SMS Relay and allow SMS and phone access when asked.
  2. Tap Add rule, choose who to forward from and where to send it.
  3. Optional: set battery use to Unrestricted so your phone never pauses forwarding.

Installed the APK directly and Android says a permission is "restricted"? Open App info → ⋮ → Allow restricted settings, then grant the permissions.
