SMS RelayTerms and Conditions
These terms apply to your use of the SMS Relay Android app ("the App"), published by Saul Redemption Services LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Licence
The App is free, open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Your rights to copy, modify and redistribute the source code are set out in that licence; nothing in these terms limits them. The name "SMS Relay" and the App icon identify official builds from us.
2. Your responsibilities
- Lawful use. Only forward messages you are entitled to forward, and only to recipients who expect them. Don't use the App to intercept, monitor or redistribute other people's messages without their consent, or in any way that breaks the law where you live.
- Sensitive messages. Forwarding one-time passwords, banking alerts or other sensitive texts sends them in plain SMS to another phone. You decide which messages to forward and accept that risk.
- Carrier charges. Each forwarded message is sent from your SIM as a normal SMS. Long messages may be sent as several parts. Your carrier's rates, limits and terms apply, including when roaming.
3. No guarantee of delivery
SMS delivery depends on your phone, operating system, battery settings, signal and carrier. The App may be delayed or prevented from forwarding a message. Don't rely on it for emergencies or anything where a missed or late message could cause harm.
4. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, carrier charges, or messages that were forwarded, not forwarded, delayed or sent to the wrong recipient, arising from your use of the App. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App (which is zero).
6. Privacy
How the App handles data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Saul Redemption Services LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer protection law gives you rights that can't be waived.
